schalan marotz

Schalan Marotz has wanted to be a hairdresser since she was in first grade, and it never changed! In high school she knew she wanted to own her own hair salon. She graduated from Paul Mitchell The School San Antonio in 2009. It was there she knew she wanted to become a Paul Mitchell National Educator and stay apart of the Paul Mitchell family someday. Schalan went on to work for a Paul Mitchell focus salon, until she was ready to open her own. October 2014 Schalan opened the door to her own salon. Schalan has now been a Paul Mitchell National Color Educator a little over two years. Hair is more than her job or career, it is her life style. Even her seven year old daughter thinks maniquins are normal staples to their home! Whether she is at her salon doing a color, or on stage teaching the newest trends and products from John Paul Mitchell Systems, she truly loves ever single bit of the industry and her career. She will tell everyone her key to success is to make many goals and hold yourself accountable. Her favorite quote goes hand and hand with that, “shoot for the moon and if you must miss you will land among the stars”.
